I am a graduate student at Arizona State University working towards my Master in Computer Science. I love developing mobile applications, the funny little useful things that make you love your mobiles. When am not working, I can be found jamming around with my guitar creating some new tunes. I am a crazy John Mayer fan.

Master in Computer Science • May 2018

I am currently a full time Computer Science graduate student in Arizona State University(ASU) in Tempe, Arizona and scheduled to graduate in May, 2018 with a Master of Computer Science. In the process of satisfying my curiosity in the performance oriented novel computing methods, I have enrolled for subjects like Foundations of Algorithms, Multimedia and Web Databases and Software Design. I am also conducting research work in the area of Multimedia feature reduction and Image quality improvement using histogram equalization.

B.Tech. Degree in Software Engineering • May 2013

I received my undergraduate degree, Bachelor of technology in Software Engineering, from SRM University, India. My concentration enabled me to gain really deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle with the subjects like Software Architecture, Software Management, and Component Based Systems. Courses like DataStructures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, and Operating Systems gave me a good understanding of the basics of computing science. I also participated in research and worked on a Nokia funded research project to create applications for the meego platform.

In the position, I led a team of 5 developers to create a secure communication application with role based access and HIPAA compliance. I also collaborated, in a team of 2, to create a m-Health iOS app for wearable data integration and synchronization of clinical data with the healthcare provider. My job also included evaluation of various frameworks and libraries to derive at the most suitable option for the product. I coordinated frequently with the stakeholders to translate the business requirements into deliverable technical solutions. I also performed domain specific research and development activities on the application of mobile solutions to problems in healthcare domain.

Payoda Technologies

Software Engineer • July 2013 - Oct 2015

As a software engineer, I partnered with various costumers to deliver timely releases ensuring high quality standards. I designed and documented various reusable components resulting in up to 20% reduction in the development effort of applications by the team. I was also involved in engineering proof of concepts in the space of mobile retail applications, using virtual and augmented reality. Due to the wide array of applications that I worked on, I have gained high proficiency across healthcare, education, multimedia and entertainment industries.
